Accomplishing Goals

What is it you want to accomplish? Maybe you want to start living a healthier life? Maybe you want to start saving money for the future? Start saving for a dream home? A future business?

focus

Whatever it is you want to accomplish there are fundamental steps to making these changes occur in our daily lives. The biggest factor without a doubt being focus. Without focus we wander lost and without purpose. With focus and concentration we can strive to live purposefully, taking actions to improve the overall quality of our lives bringing us close to the dream we’ve established for ourselves.

To reach your vision it must be deeply engrained, your actions must come from a place of passion. Your vision should be your first thought when you wake and your last thought before going to bed. Your vision should be something you cannot go without, something no one can convince you to shy away from.

8 Principles to Accomplishing Any Goal

Visualize
Visualize where it is you want to be, visualize the end result, and visualize the journey. Where is it you want to be at the end of your transformation? Is it realistic? Can you see yourself taking the steps to get there?

Create a vision & action steps
This is where imagination becomes so important, we need to see it before it ever actually comes into being. Note everything you may encounter, note every opportunity, every risk, create actions steps incase these scenarios ever come into play.

Commit to action
A goal is just an idea without effort and consistent action. Wake up everyday with the intention to knock something else off the list.

Keep the end in mind
We all begin from different starting points, for some success and happiness might be harder to attain than others. Keep the end in mind; don’t quit, you’ll get there in time.

Accept failure and uncertainty
The road of success is buried in misfortune, don’t let failure affect your emotions. You’re going to fail its inevitable, you’re only human… we all make mistakes. Learn from your mistakes and move past them, don’t linger.

Evaluate and re-evaluate
Evaluate yourself, what does your progression look like up until this point? What could be done differently? Are you really utilizing your resources most efficiently? Your time? Are you taking the proper actions? Do your action steps need to be revisited? Is something missing?

The biggest question we should ask ourselves is “knowing what I know now, am I taking the best possible direction to reach my outcome?”

Things change that includes our vision and priorities. The more we come to understand about life, human nature and wholeness the more we redirect our energy to gain purpose from our actions. The more we understand our feelings and emotions the more aware we become and the more willing we are to make the correct choices.

Revisit your vision
is it what you truly want? Are you truly willing to sacrifice everything necessary to accomplish this vision? Are you fooling yourself? Or do you truly believe?

Give your best effort and persevere
If you’re completely sold on your vision and completely willing to sacrifice whatever it is to get there then there’s no better time to start than right now. Effort is between you and you, don’t limit yourself; work for everything you deserve.

Stay poised, don’t get down on yourself if you’ve been at it for a long time. If your vision is really worth it you’ll stick with it. Failure and mistakes are just stepping stones, don’t let them define you. Remember, if it was easy everyone would do it. Not everybody can musker up the strength and courage but for those who can glory awaits.

Principles of Blog Writing

When it comes to blog writing everyone has their own take. Blog writing is self-expression at its finest, allowing even the most complex individuals to showcase and articulate their deepest thoughts without fear of rejection.

blogging

Honestly when I think about blog writing I think to myself… Am I really cut out for this? Could I really maintain a blog? Would I be able to keep up with engaging content that viewers actually want to read?

Realistically it doesn’t matter as long as I write. My first principle of blog-writing is doing it for myself. Writing about topics that peak my interest and at a volume that makes sense to me. If I wake up tomorrow and don’t want to write a blog, that’s fine, I won’t write a blog that day. If I wake up and want to write 4 blogs then I don’t let anything stop me and I do so. I try not to criticize myself in terms of working on my blog; I try to just allow the energy to flow naturally.

My second principle would be patience. There are many factors that contribute to becoming a successful SEO and blog writing is only one of those aspects. It’s essential to continue to stay patient not only when considering building followers but also when working on developing your own personal skills. Change is inevitable and we need to continue our own personal progression to stay innovative and ahead of the curve.

Principle three; perseverance. (A) Staying true to your voice, (B) putting the time in when it counts and (C) remaining consistent.

(A) First persevere with your voice. Don’t forget about why you began and what your aim was. What were your values and your overall goal? Stay consistent with who you are just focus on A+ quality. Honestly we can all be insightful if we are given the opportunity to engage in deep thought. We all see the world different from one another and can learn from each other’s various perspectives. Staying true to yourself means staying in line with your passion and finding a niche that will appreciate and support you for who you are.

(B) Putting in the time when it counts refers to not allowing yourself to fall behind. It means being able to deviate good decisions from bad ones, doing what actually needs to be done rather than a lesser task. It means potentially staying up some nights just to get head sometimes just to allow freedom to breathe. Writing can easily become a daunting task if you begin to resent it but that’s not to say it could also introduce you into a world of euphoria engaging in new positive thought patterns.

(C) Perseverance is everything. “Writing at its best, is a lonely life” – Ernest Hemingway. You need to be willing to endure solitude and isolation to concentrate on your own thoughts.

Principle four; care for yourself. Now this may seem odd and almost like it has nothing to do with blog-writing but that couldn’t be further from the truth. If blogging is our platform for self-expression then we need to be sure we are expressing ourselves in a whole, joyous way. Choose to live in the light rather than the darkness.

If we are angry at the world 24/7 365 days out of the year then most likely when we write the underlying tone that the readers will embrace is that of anger or sadness. We need to be able to write from the heart from a place of love or the craft will become tedious and repetitive fairly quickly.”We can’t learn to love another until we’ve learnt to love ourselves” this is also in our writing. Learn to love yourself and enjoy being happy everything else will fall in line.
