We’re all destined for great things.. We all have so much potential we refuse and neglect.
We overwork and overconsume to the point we have no energy left to do the things that nourish us soulfully.
So busy plugging away at the day to day duties we quickly forget the importance of nurturing this part of our being.
Why do we put so much focus on the brain and heart but never the soul?
Just cause you don’t see it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
Everything you do has an impact on your soul. You can choose to listen to your inner voice or avoid it completely.
Living through the ego we are ignorant to the concept of the soul. We may think we abide by the soul’s purpose but sooner or later we come to find out we’ve fooled ourselves.
Don’t attach yourself to a piece of knowledge, it is what it is, if its fact and cannot be changed just let it be.
Focus on elements under your control. Take care of your body, it’s a temple for heaven’s sake.
Your body is your passage way to the other elements of being. Don’t be restrained because you’ve neglected movement for so long. Challenge yourself to move and take action.
Build up your endurance gradually.
Don’t worry about having the body of your dreams just worry about having a body that meets the functionality of the soul. Prepare the body so it’s ready for action, ready for whatever stress may arise.
Activities such as something so simple like going for a bike ride can be a joyful experience some people just aren’t able to enjoy.
To think our ancestors walked for days, weeks and even months at a time. We need to be able to endure and persevere and a lot of having the proper mindset comes with being in control of your physical health.
Taking care of your body doesn’t have to be some daunting task, depending on our perspective we can actually make it quite enjoyable.
Taking care of your health isnt about getting a huge pump or having 90% of the blood in our body rushing to our arms, its about being able to physically endure whatever it is that comes our way.
Why does the average joe nowadays have a beer belly and uneven posture?
Most of us have the wrong attitude when it comes to taking care of the body.
We don’t have to spend hours at the gym to have a good health we just have to utilize our muscles to reduce potential muscle atrophy (prevent muscles from weakening over time).
The longer you neglect your health the harder you’ll have to work to get to square one so start becoming accountable.
As long as you have a brain and two feet you can choose your own direction. You’re not a tree.
