We all have different ideas of how we would like to retire but not all of us live in a way that we will be able to do so. The way we consume day-to-day takes a toll both on our health and our overall financial status.
We live in a day of age where wealth is more emphasized by the things you possess such as clothes, cars and odd commodities rather than actually owning money itself. Instead of collecting savings we’ve chosen to collect debt. We’ve chosen to emphasize lifestyles we can’t afford conforming to the so-called celebrity lifestyle.
Truth is most of us aren’t celebrities and never will be. Most of us aren’t all-star athletes and will never make millions of dollars. Although this truth should be universally known the rise of social media has influenced many to convince themselves they are “almost famous”.
Fame doesn’t bring happiness. Fame is more of an delusional lifestyle that’s sold to fans. Truthfully, a celebrity’s life is not much more spectacular than yours or mine.
Emotional stability and consistency
The biggest advantage celebrities possess is the income and support they receive. They are able to stay on top of their development with numerous coaches, trainers, managers who keep their heads in the game.
Remember we aren’t all raking in the big bucks like celebrities or all-star athletes and most of us likely never will. Thus why we need to be our own coaches, trainers and managers. We need to take initiative to correct our own mistakes day to day. We need to build momentum and keep looking ahead. We harness the power to accomplish great things with consistent action.
To retire healthy and with savings should be the focus for everybody.. so why are we thinking short-sighted?

Back to Diluted Realities – The Ego Illusion Part 1
Why are we concerned with everything that hasn’t happened yet? We are worried about circumstances and situations that haven’t and may not ever take effect. Why is depression and anxiety becoming so common?
With constant overthinking we are constantly focused on the “what ifs” and the “unlimited possibilities” that our fear imposes rather than focusing on the opportunities that arise day to day. Living in fear we begin to rationalize every reason why our hopes and goals will never work out. As soon as we think we make progress facing our demons another roadblock persists. Fear has taken control of the general population like a grappling hook, one by one isolating victims dragging them down deeper and deeper into a dark hole they could never escape.
Why is obesity a leading cause for disease when it can be avoided? Why do we need to spend money in order to uphold an image or feel relevant? Why do most people suffer from addiction(s)? Most importantly why do we learn to accept our fears as our reality?
We rationalize every reason why we can’t do something and these become our subconscious beliefs. We one by one work our way through our limiting thoughts only to find another has taken its place.
It’s time to stop making excuses for yourself, It’s time to get out of your head and into your body. Start taking action. It’s time to convince yourself you deserve better.
Start loving yourself and seeing the value for what you’re worth. Start living through your word, your word to yourself and your word to others. Take initiative and address your fears you’ll be blown away with what you’re able to accomplish. Remember flow is key to efficiency and productivity, become flexible like water and flow.
Address one problem at a time till you are no longer drowning in worry. You will feel a huge sense of accomplishment and realize you are stronger than you ever thought possible.

Technology is great and has improved humanity dramatically within the past 50 years. Think large appliances and where we’d be without them.. think vehicles.. cellphones…think mass media such as television and Internet.
All this technology was created to benefit humanity by making things more efficient and that it does but it does have its drawbacks. If you look around wherever you go you could probably suggest the robot takeover has begun (just kidding, kinda).
We’ve become so excited and obsessed over the advances in technology we refuse to put our devices down. Smartphones and tablets are captivating for entertainment purposes and can be efficient for organization but are mind-sucking time wasters when overused. Most people refuse to turn the TV off when they get home from work, binge watching complete seasons over a single night is becoming more and more common. It’s so normal now-a-days for people to have unhealthy attachments to their devices.
Try to separate someone from their distraction and watch out!
Most people identify themselves with their social media accounts and refuse to give up their phone for the day. Most people look forward to watching a movie or TV show when they get home from work and don’t turn off the TV until they go to bed.
Most people feel paralyzed and need to remain attentive to their screens. Whatever new craze that is about to be, technology fanatics have to have it.

Television nowadays is so good and there’s so much variety. Social media can be good to establish a network of strong connections.
To each their own when it comes to how you use your technology just remember not to lose yourself. Media can have strong influences on a person’s personality and behavior. Remember your values and remember moderation is key.
Most of us are living diluted realities of the truth. We over sell and over consume most of the times as a means of convincing others or ourselves of our value and worth. Some individuals live fragments of what others consider reality – the world becoming strongly narcissistic thus shifted the collective thinking – people became so focused on themselves yet they are unaware of the bubble they place themselves in.
Sure becoming more self-conscious is great.. people are making a stand for their worth for fairness and equality. Most of us live fragmented illusions of what we call life.
Although it appears we have more friends than ever according to our Facebook profiles that couldn’t be any further from the truth. Human connection has been lost and the demand for attention is more prevalent than ever.
The products we use have a strong influence with the way the world perceives us. Moderate spending is fine the problem arises when we spend in order to gain approval. People acquire debt in order to finance fancy cars, pay for trips or to satisfy spending addictions. Many unconsciously put themselves into difficult financial crisis and bankrupt even when the crisis could have been avoided entirely.
In my eyes the view towards the need to thrive or the so-called “American Dream” is more a superficial image filled with material desires rather finding balance and true happiness – it’s based off the ego. In reality the “American Dream” should be finding personal happiness in our daily lives without the need to showboat or compete.
As individuals we should shift our focus and attention away from material possessions and wake to each day with expectations to have every instance filled with hope, excitement and adventure.
Wake with hope to grow mentally and physically. Wake with the means to support yourself financially. Most importantly wake to love yourself, don’t worry so much about material possessions.
Continue to Almost Famous – The Ego Illusion Part 2
Whenever you’re away from home you can list piles of things you wish you would’ve done while you were at home or when you get there (whether it be housework, exercising or personal projects – like writing blogs).
We have these hopes of accomplishing these things yet the truth is a lot of us experience a total loss of self control in the moments we spend isolated in our comfortable homes.
Addictions to drugs, alcohol, food, and technology have us spiraling out of control. We become unconscious as we routinely follow the same patterns – these bad habits can wreck havoc on an individual’s self esteem and their financial future.

Life’s hard but let’s remember what our values and goals are. Remember goals are important but so is enjoying every moment as it happens. Choose not to stress when critical moments demand your attention. Cherish each day and do you’re best with what you’ve been given. Do you’re best with today it’s all you’ve got – if you get tomorrow make the best of that too.
Remember balance in everything you do. Work towards moderating your bad habits eliminating your unneeded time wasters. We can become our own worst enemy if we beat ourselves up so remember life’s meant to be enjoyed. Do you’re best and enjoy It. Take action everyday to improve your well-being but always remember life’s a roller-coaster ride so don’t lose your sense of adventure. It has its ups and downs but hang on, embrace every moment and have fun.
Continue to Overstimulation & Loss of Self-Control Part 2
Life’s a roller-coaster especially for individuals who have trouble stabilizing their emotions such as myself. I have been told many times that I am an intense individual in terms of my emotions. But why do people feel that way?
As an individual I have suffered lots… many times due to my own choosing. My belief is something powerful comes along with suffering and that something is love and appreciation. Consider the differences of a child who has been spoiled to a child who has been suffering; suffering places a stronger focus on needs rather than wants whereas being spoiled puts the focus on wants more than needs.
Suffering tends to have a negative connotation to the word when realistically we all suffer in various ways and it’s what makes living really worth something.

I’ve wanted to start a blog for a long time but the question is where to start?
Sometimes we feel overwhelmed by our daily lives and stress over every little thing while in the bigger picture of life we remain motionless. Fear of failure interrupts a lot of us from taking the next step whether in our career or personal lives. Procrastination has been somewhat of a norm for many people but why? Why do we allow ourselves to procrastinate when it creates so much stress and anxiety?
Well to be honest I don’t want to get to deep into the idea of procrastination but instead I want to tackle procrastination by the horns. Forget procrastination, get out of your head already and take action.
Learning new “life hacks” (concepts and ideas to improve daily living) can be great but without taking action the information gathered renders useless and irrelevant.

Take what you’ve been given and run with it. Take gradual steps and build momentum for one day you will be looking down from your castle and spreading your hope onto others who in turn will feel the same emotions.
Help these individuals find their castles so you can wander amongst the glorious palaces of those who have reached their kingdoms.
